Sherry has been researching the past since the 1990s when she started with her family history and then in 1997, she began researching her first book, Taste of Tombstone.

That research began before the Internet contained many of the wonderful resources it does today. Back then it was trips to the historical societies, county court houses, and other valuable vaults of information. Today research is much easier, but it does require a lot of time, patience, and persistence.
